My name is Emilie, painter and graphic designer.

Child of Martinique, I grew up to the rhythm of the wind in the leaves, the movement of the waves, and the song of tropical birds.

I have chosen to fully reconnect with nature and my Caribbean roots by developing a unique artistic practice: painting on natural leaves.

For me, it is a way to collaborate with nature. I start from what it already offers, like a work of art in itself, and I come to add colors and textures. Thus translating a harmonious blend between my perspective as a designer and my intuitive artistic expression.

My leaves, grown in my parents' garden, are carefully selected and nurtured in their development until maturity. This living medium, as delicate as it is authentic, becomes the foundation for unique pieces, blending contemporary creation, ecology, and cultural heritage.

Through my work, I seek to promote a vision of Caribbean luxury, rooted in our territory, our culture, and our biodiversity. A fusion between flora and painting, between the artistic gesture and the natural object. Each creation is an invitation to slow down, to look differently, to feel.

My painting is a meeting. Between me, nature, and the one who receives it.

A suspended moment, an emotion laid on a sheet.

MY INSPIRATIONS

My artistic universe is deeply inspired by tropical nature, the movement of the sea, and the textures of corals,
and the vibrant energy of my island environment. These elements nourish my compositions, giving rise to abstract and organic patterns,
fluid and colorful, that evoke freedom, natural rhythm, and the visual abundance of the Caribbean.
